I had a killer experience with Full Detail Automotive saving my JDM 300ZX after another shop completely botched the job. From the moment I brought the car in, it was clear they actually knew what they were doing. Super knowledgeable, took the time to explain everything, and treated the car like it was their own. Scheduled my work, and got me in and out in record time. On top of that, everyone there was incredibly friendly and easy to work with, which made a stressful situation way better. If you’ve got a performance or JDM car and want it handled right the first time, this is the place to go. Highly recommend.

Backstory: - My Z wouldn’t start, so I reached out to Mike via Instagram DM with the details. - Later that evening, Mike called me and spent about 20 minutes walking through the issue, future plans, and options. That level of personal attention was a big change from the usual “just bring it in and we’ll see.” - I scheduled an appointment to drop the car off and asked for a full check‑up since I never did a pre/post‑purchase inspection. Z purchased online from out of state seller. Mike knows his stuff. This place is a mecca for JDM maintenance, repair, and modifications. He looked at my engine compartment and noticed the screw was loose on my timing disk. Just looked at the engine and noticed that. He confirmed my timing was off and took care of it right away.

Full Detail Automotive is an absolute gem to have around this area. I'm impressed with the honest and open communication about the work being done throughout the entire process. Even before I was an official customer, Mike was always willing to help answer my questions since I had recently purchased an FD RX-7. The amount of detail that Mike puts into the inspections and overall work is awesome, and I'll definitely be back for any future work!

Great shop that cares about you as well as your vehicle. Mike is a very detailed and ace a mechanic. He will make sure you are well taken care of. I highly recommend you pay him a visit for any car needs.
